About this Site

The squid proxy, Apache, mod_perl, and XML::ApplyXSLT are used to render most of the pages. RBW Technologies hosts sial.org. The site runs on hardware purchased from Silicon Mechanics.

The custom XML dialect (eolas) suits the documentation I write. A variety of custom Perl scripts help create the XML (such as generating shell code examples from pasted input, or creating image tags), though BBEdit handles most of the XML editing. Diagrams are created using OmniGraffle Pro.
